This is my second purchase of this cat tree. I have 5 large cats and they all take turns to sleep in it. The first one is still being used although it's been heavily scratched and jumped in by 7-8 kilos of fluffyness .

I bought this because I didn't want a cat tree that took too much space. It looks nice and is not overpowering in our sitting room. Our 2 kittens love using the padded area to have a rest. One of the kittens uses the scratching post more than the other but they do use it. It is not sufficient to keep them away from scratching furniture though. I am thinking of getting some scratch pads to see if that works better.

It's very stylish and looks good in my home. My cat does occasionally use it, but I've seen it almost tip over when she jumps on it. So the base really should be heavier to make it safer. The scratch post is great and the toys add a bit of occasional excitement.

I ordered this cat tree 15 months ago for a family and their 9 year old cat coming to stay with me from Ukraine. I had low hopes about whether the cat would actually use it, but it's been a great success. She loves the scratching post, and has a good stretch and scratch on it several times a day.
